Monthly tuition to enroll in my string program is
                        $100 for half-hour lessons (Book 1 students)
$132 for 45-minute lessons (Book 2 and above).
Tuition is paid by Venmo (@lindawduncan) and is due by the 10th of each month.
Each Semester tuition covers the equivalent of 3 private lessons per month, group lessons, and recitals. The monthly tuition does not include your $35 Suzuki Association of Utah membership fee, extra time spent with our accompanist other than regularly scheduled group lessons, or special events.
During the summer months, you will receive 9 private lessons and we will have a group recital or activity at the end of the summer. Monthly tuition remains the same throughout the year.
Consistent attendance at private and group lessons is essential for rapid progress. If you know you have a conflict with your private lesson ahead of time, please trade with another student on the roster.  Text me to let me know if you will not be coming because of illness, etc. or if you have switched lesson times with another student. While I sympathize with an occasional illness or scheduling conflict, my teaching schedule is full. I do not teach make-up lessons.
All schedules will be posted on duncanstudios.blogspot.com. Please "follow" it so that you are aware of new posts.
Attendance at group lessons is mandatory. Group lessons are a vital part of your child’s progress.  Make group lessons a priority.
If you wish to enroll in my program you must be committed to supervising the consistent daily practice of your child. This means a minimum of five days per week of daily practice of 30 minutes (Book 1 students) 45 minutes to an hour or more. (Book 2 and up). It is a rare child who enjoys the work of practicing all of the time. Be consistent, persistent, and cheerful. Constant attention must be given to accurate intonation, correct posture, proper bow hold, and the production of a beautiful tone.  Schedule a practice time with your child and stick to it!
Listening to the Suzuki CD is absolutely necessary for the success of your child. I cannot make up for the learning that you miss when you fail to listen. At the very least, spend as much time listening as you do practicing. Better yet, just leave the CD on all day! Students who listen, review, and practice consistently move quickly through the literature.
I enjoy my association with each of you. The opportunity to progress musically with your children is one of the joys of my life. I am firmly committed to giving them the best instruction that I can.
